Happy 5 and 3/4 birthday Ethan.

I was helping Ethan with his pre bed routine the other night and he didn’t quite like that fact that I said he was five and a half. He turned to me and said how long until I turn 6? I gave him the rough number of days. He then turned and said “I think I’m 5 and ¾ now, am I?”. I was taken back. It was one of those moments where, instead of saying anything I looked around for Johanna to see if they had been going over things like this, fractions, numbers etc. and where did he get this from. When i realized she wasn’t in ear shot i didn’t bothered looking into it any further. Id much rather just think he’s brilliant.

So happy quarter birthday Ethan, you are officially no longer 5 1/2.
