Happy Transplant Day Ethan!
I just got off the phone with Johanna. There is a big bag of red blood waiting outside Ethan’s room. She said Eliot did great but his face is very puffy. He is in a double on 6 North with Grand Ma and Uncle Nathan, it’s KILLING me that i can’t be there. Eliot’s one request… “I want to play Play Station”.
In other news… I just got back from my doctor. They’re thinking it’s a viral gastrointestinal infection, its about as fun as it sounds. They were also thinking Diverticulitis but I doubt it.
Congratulations Ethan, may the strength of God be with you as you bond with your brother in a way few know. May you always be thankful for the gift he has given you and may his added strength give you just what you need to put an end to this vile disease.

Johanna, Yancy, Ethan, Eliot and Emma, We all said extra special prayers last night (Sunday) fro Ethan and Eliot. We prayed for everything to be 100% successful. Yes, it may sound silly, but we even had our dog Sprocket put his little paws together to pray too! Hey…we figured the more prayers the better!! Just wanted to let you know that we are all thinking about you and wish both Ethan and Eliot a fast track to recovery. They are also very lucky to have such wonderful parents and an absolutely adorable sister. You’re in our thoughts and prayers.

what wounderful news! here’s to the celebration of the 1st annual ethan and eliot day! we can’t wait to hear ethan’s progress, this is the most beautiful gift anyone could ever receive! continue to be strong—you and yancy, your mom, and sweet little emma (whose joke was tooooo cute and i need to email her back!!)—you are a very blessed family. our prayers and good wishes will forever continue. hugs!!

i just saw those incredible pictures and was bawling my eyes out; how emotional and how amazing to see eliot’s little name on that donor bag and ethan as the recipient!! may they both be recovering quickly and again, those pictures are amazing. love to you all.
