A hiking we will go

We feel spring in the air. Although just brief bits of it. In between the snow storms. Spring fever is setting in, and pushed us out the door the other day to go for a hike. We stayed in Rowley, and went to Hunsley Hills.

We were only hiking for 35 minutes, but that was plenty for the first time out. Emma enjoyed leading the way, following tracks. Ethan enjoyed using his field guide, identifying tracks and scat. Eliot had to be carried on the way back. The exercise and outdoors was great for our bodies and minds. My muscles actually hurt the following day, reinforcing just how out of shape I am. This is just the beginning of our fun-filled spring and summer!
